Li Ping's art exhibition opens in Shandong
Li Ping's Art Exhibition opened on Nov 5 at the Shandong Museum as part of an event celebrating the 115th anniversary of Shandong University.
Some 160 pieces of work are on display, including oil paintings, watercolors and sketches, all produced by Li Ping, an art professor at the Fine Arts School of Shandong University.
The paintings express Li's heartfelt praise for the beautiful motherland, as well as eulogize life and the good of humanity.
Jointly organized by Shandong University, the Shandong Provincial Department of Culture, and the Shandong Federation of Literary and Art Circles, the exhibition will last until Nov 15.
More than 40 distinguished guests from the Shandong provincial government, Shandong University and cultural communities attended the opening ceremony of the exhibition, at which Li donated one of his oil paintings to the Shandong Museum.
Li Ping, born in 1964 in Weifang, is a member of the China Artists Association and is adept at oil painting.
