A Swedish cultural official experiences the ancient printmaking of Yangjiabu woodblock New Year paintings under the guidance of a Shandong folk artist at the Stockholm Chinese Cultural Center on June 15. Yangjiabu village in Weifang, Shandong province has been making woodblock-printed New Year paintings since the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644).
