Folk arts and crafts expo opens in Yantai

The exhibition space is divided into three sections for statues and porcelain, traditional crafts and furniture, and Shandong paper-cuttings.
During the expo, which runs through Sept 25, the winners of the 13th China Folk Art "Mountain Flowers" Awards will be announced. The award is a national honor initiated by the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles and Chinese Folk Literature and Art Association.
As the Mid-Autumn Festival is just around the corner, the organizers have designated an area in the expo center for visitors to bargain for fine works of art.
