Liu Baochun art exhibition opens in Tai'an
The national exhibition tour of Liu Baochun's Poetry, Calligraphy and Painting came to Tai'an, Shandong province on Oct 17, displaying a collection of nearly 150 works of art created by Liu over the past 60 years.

As an important innovator of modern Chinese landscape painting, Liu emphasizes the integration of sketches and emotional experiences in making his artistic creations.
The exhibits express Liu's heartfelt praise for the beautiful motherland, as well as eulogize life and nature.

The 85-year-old is a committee member and researcher of the China National Academy of Painting, an honorary chairman of the Shandong Federation of Literary and Art Circles, the honorary president of Shandong Painting Academy and a visiting professor at the University of Houston.

The tour exhibition is jointly organized by the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, the National Museum of China and the China Artists Association, and will run in Tai'an until Oct 24.
