As a major part of this year's Shandong Cultural Consumption Season and Shandong International Small Theater Drama Show, the alliance is one of the important measures in developing cultural trends, perfecting cultural facilities as well as expanding cultural benefits to the public.
"This year marks the 110th anniversary of the birth of Chinese drama, and since its birth, it has been closely linked with young students," said Liu Min, deputy inspector of the Shandong Provincial Department of Culture.
According to Liu, the establishment of the alliance will build a bridge between the drama clubs of universities and help enhance the youths' interest in drama.
