1. Longkou Nanshan Scenic Area

Longkou Nanshan Scenic Area will launch a grand firework show on the eve of Lantern Festival. It will also hold two assemblies for New Year blessings at 9:30 and 18:30 on March 2.

2. Qixia Moushi Park

A series of celebration activities such as festive lanterns, folk performances, solving lantern riddles and enjoying yuanxiao, sweet dumplings made of glutinous rice flour, have been prepared for Lantern Festival.

3. Penglai Qijiguang Former Residence

The 2018 Penglai Folk Lantern Show will be held from Feb 19 to March 4 to greet the upcoming Lantern Festival. Traditional celebrations such as lantern-riddle guessing, folk custom exhibition, a traditional folk dance show and tasting of local delicacies will be on offer. Tickets are 20 yuan ($2.98) per person.
