The total amount of fabric used was 15,600 meters and the length of lines was 30,000 meters. It took 16 days to build the kite, which is several times that required for ordinary kites.
The giant kite was flown by a professional kite flying team. Verifiers from Carrying the Flag World Records present at the scene declared that this kite was the world's largest "Chinese knot" kite, and awarded a medal and certificates. Thousands of guests witnessed the birth of the world record.
