The repertoires, a highlight of the festival, will cover ten types of Chinese operas, representing the great achievements that Shandong has made in stage art over the years.
In addition, the festival will also see a series of exhibitions, lectures, and performances related to the intangible cultural heritages organized by the Department of Culture of Shandong Province, on the occasion of the Fifth China Intangible Cultural Heritage Expo to be held in Jinan from Sept 13 to 17.
Many of the cultural activities will be free of charge for the public, with many others offering cheap tickets, especially for migrant workers and environmental sanitation workers.
