The weather clears up on Jan 5 in Tai'an, East China's Shandong province after a snow one day earlier. Mount Tai, one of the city's most prominent scenic spots, loses no time in offering magnificent views of the azure sky and white snow.
Home to 12 historically recorded imperial ceremonies in homage to Heaven and Earth, about 1,800 stone tablets and inscriptions, and 22 ancient temples, Mount Tai is the most famous sacred mountain in China, and a world-renowned treasure house of history and culture.
