A flash mob video was filmed at Yantai's Marina Square on Feb 19 to celebrate the upcoming motherland's 70th birthday.

Celebrities such as Wang Yaping, Yantai's female astronauts and a group of local residents sang a repertoire of odes to the homeland, My Motherland and Me to show their love for China.

The video was jointly organized by Yantai's culture and tourism bureau and urban management bureau as well as the Yantai radio and television station, to surprise the public, sing the praises of the motherland and add festive atmosphere to the Spring Festival holiday. The day was also Lantern Festival

On the evening of Lantern Festival, a dazzling array of traditional folk cultural products were offered such as paper-cutting artworks, "Jiaodong Bobo", steamed buns and clay sculptures.
