The streets of Jinan were aglow with lights and colors when more than 1,000 runners participated in a night running activity at the Jinan Olympic Sports Center on April 27.

The running route, which both started and ended at the Jinan Olympic Sports Center, spanned a total of five kilometers.

Participants wearing special t-shirts, fluorescent headwears and carrying glowing sticks formed a translucent wave of neon colors.

The event was jointly hosted by the Jinan Sports Bureau and Jinan Radio and Television Station.
