8 places in Shandong named hometown of Chinese folk culture, art

Eight places in Shandong were given the title of "Hometown of Chinese Folk Culture and Art of 2021 to 2023" by China's Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
The eight places are Jiaozhou city, Lyuyi town, Yangjiabu village, Linshu county, Huji town, Shanghe county, Zhangdian district and Tangyi town.
Shandong has in recent years strengthened the role of folk culture and art hometowns in carrying forward fine traditional Chinese culture, advancing rural revitalization, and boosting industrial development. The province has also promoted the high-quality development of folk culture and art, and enhanced the integration of traditional and modern cultures.
The Shandong Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism will make more efforts to push forward the all-round development of its folk culture and art, and stimulate the value and efficiency of folk culture and art resources. A slew of characteristic activities will be rolled out to inject new momentum into the development the province's traditional culture and art.
