Yantai airport reopens air route to Hong Kong

A direct air route between Yantai and Hong Kong resumed on Oct 15, informed an airlines officials.
The airplane ZH9463 of Shenzhen Airlines took off from the Yantai Penglai International Airport and there were 79 passengers on board.
The officer said that the air route was discontinued from March 25 this year for some reason.
The Shenzhen Airlines will run the flights from Yantai to Hong Kong on A320 Airbus planes. It will fly on a daily basis on both ways to facilitate the travel between the two areas.
At initial stage, the airlines company is offering discounted flight tickets and travel agencies have launched a string of tourism products to encourage more people to take the flights.
In addition to Hong Kong, Shenzhen Airlines has started a number of air routes from Yantai to Shenzhen, Harbin, Nanjing, Changchun, Shenyang and Changsha.
