Huawei Technologies recently won the bid to lead Yantai's expressway intelligent traffic safety system project.
Huawei will update Yantai's expressway police traffic systems with a standardized transmission solution, providing unified management, high-reliability, high performance and the capacity for further expansion.
This is the first intelligent transmission network project for China's high-speed traffic police.
As the high-speed traffic police informationization infrastructure, the intelligent traffic safety system will integrate several management platforms including intelligent high definition video surveillance systems, information management of urban traffic checkpoint areas, real-time highway condition and asset management, and key vehicle monitoring systems.
The system will help to improve the work efficiency of the current public security systems and lay a solid foundation for the coming era of big data and intelligent policing in Yantai.
