The China-Russia Marine Science and Technology Innovation Center (Yantai) was established in the Yantai Area of the China (Shandong) Pilot Trade Zone on Sept 25.

The center will establish platforms in Moscow, Russia, and Yantai, Shandong province, and aims to help Yantai develop into a hub for boosting the high-tech marine industry, academic cooperation, and personnel training in marine science and technology for Russian-speaking countries such as Russia and Ukraine.

At the inauguration ceremony, a conference on strengthening cooperation was held. It was attended by 67 companies from Russia and 50 from Yantai. The conference was a resounding success, with most companies resolutely agreeing to cooperate.
