The 2021 World Industrial Design Conference will be held in Yantai from Oct 22 to 24, with the theme of "design and digital intelligence".

The event is hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Shandong Provincial People's Government.

This year's event will focus more on the vital role of digital and intelligent technologies in promoting industrial design sector.

Nearly 1,000 creative design and new products will be on show during the event.

The conference, which is in its fifth edition, provides a platform for global design innovation, entrepreneur cooperation, and high-end innovation talent gathering.
