The State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) in Shanghai's Jiading district and a local power supply company signed a strategic cooperation agreement on August 7 that requires the two parties to support the district's emerging industries and key projects.
Ma Chunlei, party secretary of the district, attended the signing ceremony and expressed appreciation for the company's contribution to Jiading's economic and social development, and promised to support the company's projects. He said that this interdependent relationship between government agencies and the power supply company would lead to mutually beneficial cooperation.
According to the agreement, the company will offer customized services for state-owned enterprises aiming to conduct key construction programs such as residential projects, and the company is also expected to accelerate infrastructure construction in major economic powerhouses such as Jiading new city and the industrial zone.
In addition, it will also assist SASAC's efforts to encourage energy-saving reform in companies with heavy consumption and promote new energy vehicles by establishing more battery-charging stations.
