【Guyi Garden (Guyiyuan)】

Located at Nanxiang town in Jiading, it was built during the reign of Emperor Wanli of the Ming Dynasty (1574-1620). Covering an area of nearly 10 hectares, it was one of the most famous gardens in South China in the Ming Dynasty and the largest of the five classic gardens in Shanghai.

The name of the garden was borrowed from the Book of Songs, meaning beautiful and green bamboo. The Ming-styled architecture, couplets and poems, and stone-paved paths lined with flowers, represent the main features of the garden.

Tourist attractions in the garden, including Bujizhou (non-anchored stone boat), Tangjingzhuang (pavilion of Tang Dynasty scriptures), Yiyetang (the reclusive hall), Buqueting (corner lost pavilion), Qingqing Garden (green and clean garden) and Nanyuan all bear rich and unique gardening connotations.

A folk saying manifests the beauty and reputation of Guyi Garden: "Classic gardens in Suzhou are the best, and in parallel, there is Guyi Garden in Nanxiang, Shanghai."

【Malu Vineyard】

Malu is the growing area of grapes, and the Malu Vineyard is the experimental and growing base of the Malu Grape Institute. The institute is the first professional research organization in the suburban areas of Shanghai approved by the Shanghai Commission of Science and Technology. It has successfully introduced 38 kinds of grapes since its founding.

Main attractions of the vineyard include: the Grape corridor, the petite fruit orchard, the wine castle, the lovers' paradise, the miniature garden, the fruit-picking garden and the water-borne vineyard.

【Shanghai International Circuit】

Shanghai International Circuit occupies a land area of 5.3 square kilometers and is known as an F1 circuit adhering to international standards for its highest degree of difficulty, highest technological content, and the most complete and comprehensive functions.

Its main structure has both modern elements and traditional Chinese features. Its race track is shaped like the Chinese character 上 (the first character in the city's name Shanghai). The design of the red and golden cylindrical roof cut-outs of the main spectator stand was inspired by the traditional Chinese lantern; the film structured roof of the side spectator stands is shaped like lotus leaves; and the design of the PAddressock area for racing teams to rest and refresh was inspired by the waterside pavilions and bridges at Yuyuan Garden in Shanghai.

The designed capacity of spectator stands is about 200,000 people, including 50,000 seats on the main and side stands, and the rest are temporary spectator seats at the sloped areas. The total length of the race track is 5,451.24 meters, with seven left turns and seven right turns, and the designed average speed is 205 kilometers.

【Auto Museum】

The Auto Museum in Shanghai's Jiading district is the first professional automobile museum. The museum's first exhibition displayed 70 classical types of automobiles since the world's first automobile had met consumers, showcasing the improvement in the automobile industry over hundreds of years. The museum provides a research and appreciation platform for classical automobile fans.

【Jiading Fahua Pagoda】

The pagoda, also called Jinsha Pagoda, is located south of Lianqi River in Zhouqiao, Jiading, and was constructed during the Kaixi reign of the Southern Song Dynasty (1205-1207). The Fahua Pagoda, 40.8 meters tall, is a square, brick-wood structure with seven stories, accessible by ladders.

Due to its weak structure, the Fahua Pagoda collapsed several times in history, and after repeated renovations and reconstruction, the original state and features are still well conserved today.

During the renovation project in 1996, underground chambers built in the Song and Yuan Dynasties and underground chamber built in the Ming Dynasty were discovered, where dozens of valuable cultural relics, such as bronze Buddha statues, stone Buddha statues, iron pagoda, silver basin, jade ware, agate and ancient coins, were excavated.

【Anting Old Street】

Located northwest of the international auto city, the street is of typical southern China style. With overall renovations in the past years, Anting Old Street has regained its charms and styles of the Ming and Qing dynasties, and has developed its unique "road-river-street" pattern with the Anting River as the axis and with the ancient Yansi Bridge of the Ming Dynasty (1368 -1644) as the center. In the street, the nine-story Yongan Tower, 52.88 meters tall, was newly constructed for skyscraper view.

The ancient Bodhi Temple of the Three Kingdoms Period was reconstructed, and shopping, leisure and catering facilities such as shops reflecting the old street culture, souvenir shops for auto city tourists and traditional snack food restaurants were opened along the street. Strolling in the Anting old street, it gives visitors a sense of stepping into the past. Old shops, with red walls and black tiles, line along the street.
