The Jiayuanhai Art Center had its official opening, on Dec 7, in the town of Malu, which is under the jurisdiction of Shanghai’s Jiading district, with Fei Xiaomei, deputy head of the district, present to unveil the inauguration plague.
The center was built out of four factory buildings on a 60,000-square-meter piece of ground, so it has not only exhibition, but studios as well for artists who reside there, clubs, and an art storage and logistics center.
