Shanghai Financial Valley and the Brazil National Association of Trade in Services (BNATIS) signed a cooperation agreement at the third China Beijing International Fair for Trade in Services (Beijing Fair) on May 31, according to International Financial News.
The agreement involves cooperation in trade in services, finance and the hi-tech industry, according to Xia Zemin, vice-general manager of Shanghai Jiading Financial Valley Investment Co. Shanghai will provide a sound environment for the development of the Brazilian high-tech industry in China.
The Brazilian government paid great attention to the cooperation, said the president of the BNATIS. Instead of routinely promoting tourism and sport, the cooperation focuses on the financial industry, aiming to introduce Brazil’s advanced e-bank technology and service and promote technology development in China.
As an official institution, the BNATIS is responsible for the development of the Brazilian service industry and provides support to trade service companies. It has 400,000 member enterprises, the output of which accounts for 70 percent of Brazil’s GDP.
