It is another art base after the Shanghai Painting and Calligraphy Academy, Wutong Art Gallery and Chunyuan Cultural Development Center in Jiangqiao, where people can enjoy paintings, calligraphy and ceramic art works from masters.
The gallery also kicked off a painting and calligraphy exhibition. Nearly 70 paintings and calligraphy works from artists of the Shanghai painting school, such as Zhang Peichu, Lin Ximing, Chen Guchang and Le Zhengwen, were displayed on opening day, along with a number of exquisite ceramic works.
With the aim of becoming a home to ceramic lovers, the gallery will provide a sound creative environment for artists, where people can also experience the craftsmanship of Jingdezhen in Jiangxi, the famous capital of Chinese ceramics throughout the centuries.
