Shanghai's Jiading district was listed among China's top five eco-friendly financial areas at the China Financial Eco-area Conference in Guiyang, Guizhou Province on Jan 30-31.
The competition for the list was organized by the China Museum of Finance in Tianjin, with a particular focus on popularizing the Internet finance and HP financial services.17 financial experts evaluated the entries on the basis of financial innovation, security, education and entrepreneurship environment.
Among the other four top financial eco areas are Guiyang, Beijing's Haidian district, Changsha in Hunan Province and Suzhou in Jiangsu Province.
Financial ecology, which refers to the application of theories and ideas of ecosystem to financial fields, has been on the rise in recent years.
