Major tasks for 2015
The main targets of economic and social development are as follows: The gross domestic product (GDP) increases by around 7.5 percent over the previous year. Local government revenue rises by 10 percent. Fix asset investment amounts to more than 30 billion yuan. The output of industrial enterprises, each with annual revenue of 20 million yuan or higher, increases by around 6 percent. The growth rate of per capita disposable income of urban and rural residents remains about the same with economic growth rate. Control the number of registered unemployed urban residents within the limits required by municipal government.
1. Make and implement a three-year action plan on Jiading scientific and technological innovation. Support the development of higher education institutions and research institutes. Make technological breakthrough in key industries such as integrated circuit, new energy vehicles, high-tech medical equipment and intellectual manufacturing, developing core technologies with independent intellectual property rights. Develop an automobile industry chain that combines research, design, manufacture and demonstration of smart vehicles and new energy vehicles. Develop modern service industries including Internet, e-commerce, cultural information and new finance. Make Jiading a destination for commercial exhibitions, tourism and leisure. Lift the city’s soft power.
2. Speed up the construction of the business area that congregates corporate headquarters in Jiading New City and introduce more commercial projects. Construct public service facilities like commercial facilities in communities and underground garage in Baiyin road. Speed up infrastructure construction including the expansion of Taihe Water Plant and Anting Water Plant, as well as the construction of Nanxiang Sewage Plant. Improve environment protection. Make arduous efforts to implement the Clean Air action plan, water pollution control and soil pollution control.
