New shopping mall opens in Jiading

Residents in Jiading district of Shanghai have a new place to go shopping and have fun, as IMIX Park, a large shopping mall, started operation there on May 28.

At its opening ceremony, the 2016 Asia Music Festival was also inaugurated, helping increase the opening's influence.

The shopping mall covers a combined floor area of 130,000 square meters and consists of seven floors, with two underground. It focuses on family entertainment and is expected to become the first choice for local residents who want to go shopping in a family group and try different foods.

To give the customers better selection, the shopping mall houses more than 200 brands including Starbucks, Watsons, H&M, Uniqlo, TESCO, and Lumiere Pavilions. Many shops offered discounts to attract customers on the first day of sales.

The mall was launched by the Everbright Ashmore Real Estate Investment Consultancy Co together with T&C Asset Management Consultants Ltd and the Jiabao Group.
