The Jiading Industrial Zone of Shanghai played host to a group of Chinese American startup teams on July 13, who came to present their innovative projects in machine vision, smart healthcare, environmental protection, iron and steel manufacturing and other fields.
The event, a joint effort of Shanghai's business incubator InnoSpring, the Center for US-China Technology, Innovation and Development (UCTID), and the Jiading Industrial Zone, was part of InnoSpring's innoX project, which encourages global innovative high-tech teams and projects.
InnoSpring, a sci-tech innovation service provider, is devoted to building a worldwide integrated platform of innovative resources and providing end-to-end services in space, investment, entrepreneurship, mentoring and market resources, to help startups experience rapid growth and to improve regional innovation capacity.
UCTID, headquartered in Washington, US, is a non-profit consultancy helping small and medium-sized enterprises expand overseas and assisting startups with incubation and investment issues.
