The TEEC Shanghai Center, a platform for promoting industrial innovation, was inaugurated in Jiading district, Shanghai, on June 23.

The center is a joint effort by Shanghai-based sci-tech innovation service provider InnoSpring, Tsinghua Entrepreneur and Executive Club (TEEC), and Jiading New City Co. It will be operated and managed by the InnoSpring (Xincheng) incubator, a subsidiary of InnoSpring.

The center will use TEEC's entrepreneurial network and InnoSpring's industrial innovation system to fulfill its mission of stimulating innovation.

Around 40 percent of the center has already been occupied by companies from fields including hybrid and electric vehicles and the internet of things.

Wang Yuhua, chairman and general manager of Jiading New City Co, said that its cooperation with TEEC and InnoSpring is in line with the city's industrial strategy and will boost the development of industrial parks in Jiading district.

Lv Dalong, president of TEEC, said that the club has faith in InnoSpring's ability to serve local industries and believes that InnoSpring will use its own advantages to help both TEEC members and Jiading's local industries to grow better.
