A total of 14 overseas Chinese startup groups from the US presented their innovative projects in Jiading district of Shanghai on July 13.
The projects covering the latest technologies in artificial intelligence and precision medicine attracted more than 100 government leaders, investors and entrepreneurs to attend the event.
The event is a joint effort of Shanghai's business incubator InnoSpring, the Center for US-China Technology, Innovation and Development (UCTID), and the Jiading New City. It is part of InnoSpring's innoX project, which encourages global innovative high-tech teams and projects.
It serves as a bridge between quality startup projects and investment institutions, helping the former get investment and the latter to seek innovations worth investing in.
