A culture and sport service center in Anting town, Jiading district of Shanghai has built a digital space to provide local children with an opportunity to experience cutting-edge technology.
The space, using the internet and modern elements, has been open as of Aug 11 and is expected to attract more young people to take an interest in technology, said Ge Qingfeng, head of the center.
A variety of interesting activities are on hand at the space where visitors can use virtual reality (VR) equipment to experience hundreds of simulation games involving drones, archery, and laboratory scenarios.
A digital calligraphy machine is also available, allowing users to practice their calligraphy skills using a real brush on the digital surface. Karaoke facilities are also available, which so far has proved the most popular among local children.
