Youth innovation alliance of YRD established in Jiading

A youth innovation alliance of the Yangtze River Delta region (YRD) was launched at a sci-tech innovation forum in Jiading district, Shanghai, on Dec 7.

This alliance was aimed at promoting in-depth cooperation and exchanges among talented young people in the YRD region in scientific and technological innovation research projects, and other fields.

Additionally, during the forum, attendees shared the latest information about phased array radar technology, technological resources sharing, and technological service platform construction.

Zhou Jinlin, deputy Party secretary of Jiading, said that the district welcomes the arrival of scientific institutions and hoped that young talents will choose to locate themselves and develop in Jiading and make contributions to the integrated development of the YRD region.

Jiading will enhance talent exchanges and create a better environment for the innovation and entrepreneurship of young people.

It has planned and built a batch of scientific facilities, R&D supporting platforms, and technology transfer service platforms.

The district also promoted the development of emerging industrial clusters of integrated circuit and the Internet of Things, new energy and smart vehicles, high-performance medical equipment, and precision medicines.
