To celebrate World Intellectual Property Day on April 26, Jiading district in Shanghai organized various forms of intellectual property publicity events, including seminars, policy briefings, symposiums, training sessions, forums and roadshows.
The district organized an intellectual property public forum for the science and innovation core functional area, and nine district government departments rolled out IPR protection activities.
Over 120 participants took part in a five-day training session, including professors from Shanghai University, East China University of Political Science and Law, Tongji University and other intellectual property colleges, as well as lawyers from relevant law firms.
The training focused on the fundamentals of intellectual property, patent application and review, corporate knowledge, property rights strategy, exercise and protection of patent rights, and the management of corporate intellectual property rights.
Jiading district promotes intellectual property creation, protection and application, and aims to support technological innovation in the district.
