Qiu Jichun, deputy head of Jiading district, said that Jiading ranked third in Shanghai in terms of the number of patent applications and approvals in the past two years, proof of how far the district has come on intellectual property.
In addition, the China Intellectual Property Commercial Operation Conference and the establishment of the Yangtze River Delta Intellectual Property Operation Alliance promoted a new management mode that focuses on market-oriented operation, government guidance, and alliance-based development. These are considered of great importance in improving services for IP creation, protection and application, Qiu added.
