Animation enterprise in Jiading creates box-office miracle

Ne Zha, an animation feature hit the big screens across China on July 26, and the domestic box office on the first day of release broke 100 million yuan ($ 14.5 million).

Along with one of its producers, an animation enterprise in Jiading, the film had been predicted as a box-office surprise in the past two weeks by many industry insiders such as Douban, a reviewing site in China, and it has finally ignited the whole summer for movie fans.

A Douban user commented after watching the film that the film was “epic” and that he finished watching it in tears.

Hong Li Animation Studios, headquartered in Nanxiang town, Shanghai's Jiading district, has been engaged in animation film productions including the animated movies, animation series and CG film clips since 2017.

In addition, Hong Li has been fully involved in producing the film, and after many deep run-in tests and repeated verifications, the enterprises realized major production capacity at the beginning of 2018.
