The tourism authorities of Pudong and Huangpu districts in Shanghai have recently announced to integrate their tourism resources to attract more tourists during the high tourism season in summer and fall.

According to the announcement, people who book the designated star hotels on the travel booking websites Ctrip, Elong, Booking and Qunar from July 1 to Oct 7 can get free sightseeing tickets for 23 tourist attractions in the city.

More than 50 star hotels such as Ritz-Carton, Four Seasons, Shanghai Park Hyatt Hotel and Grand Hyatt Shanghai Hotel on the both sides of the Huangpu River are involved in the promotion activity.

Among the attractions tourists can visit free of charge after booking one of those hotels are the Shanghai Wildlife Park, the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, Yu Garden, Shanghai Century Park and the observatories on the Shanghai World Financial Center and Jinmao Tower. They can also enjoy a free bus sightseeing tour around the city and a cruise tour on the Huangpu River.
