The Shanghai Sheshan National Tourist Resort will offer discounts in scenic areas on May 19 to celebrate China's National Tourism Day.
Tickets to Chenshan Botanical Garden will be priced at 30 yuan ($5), half off the regular price. Children under 1.3 meters and the elderly over 65 can enter the garden for free. With an area of 207 hectares (2.07 million square meters), Chenshan Botanical Garden has bloomed into a window for Shanghai's botanical vibrancy, innovation and culture.
Tickets for Shanghai Happy Valley will be discounted to 115 yuan on the day, 50 percent off the standard price. The free ticket policy is the same as Chenshan Botanical Garden, especially for children under 1.3 meters and the elderly over 65. The amusement park, featuring popular rides, festival activities, entertainment shows and quality services, provides personalized and diversified tourism experiences for visitors.
Visitors can also enter Moon Lake Sculpture Park on May 19 for only 60 yuan, a 50 percent discount. The park is the only garden-style tourist and leisure project themed around sculptures in Shanghai.
What's more, the Shanghai Astronomical Museum at the top of West Sheshan Mountain will allow free entrance on May 18. Visitors can now visit the museum to view the photographic exhibition featuring the beauty of the stars at night from May to June.
