Sofitel Shanghai Sheshan Oriental Hotel has launched its "Italian Cuisine Tour" food festival from 11:30 to 15:00 on every Sunday offering Italian style brunch, where visitors will be able to enjoy pure taste from Piedmont, Tuscany and Sicily.

An audio-visual extravaganza, combining fire, light and shadow will be staged above the 30,000-square-meter lake at the center of Happy Valley.

With the most advanced water curtains and fountains, along with music, full color lasers, 3D-laser imaging, fireworks and other multimedia arts and technology, the show will immerse people in a spectacular sight and sound experience.

But it is not all outdoor revels; those looking to stay indoors can partake in an exotic gourmet tour in Sheshan.

So far, a number of hotels in Sheshan have launched their summer food sets, such as an Italian gourmet tour at Sheshan Sofitel Hotel, a passionate Rio Sunday brunch at Le Meridien Sheshan and Summer Festival at Sheshan National Forest Hotel. Barbecues, a beer carnival, and all kinds of delicious seasonal delights will be available to tempt the tastebuds.
