Peony flowers of different colors become half-bloomed in the sunshine. Almost 1,000 peonies from 49 varieties will be on display in the Jinghu (literally Mirror Lake) area. As the traditional floral symbol of China, peonies are known as the flower of riches and honor. With their lush, full, rounded bloom, peonies embody romance and prosperity and are regarded as an omen of good fortune and a happy marriage. [Photo/Wechat: sheshanlvyou]
