Lion and dragon dances are classic traditional Chinese folk performance that you cannot miss. Performers stage a series of stunning tricks during the dances.

Lion and dragon dancing has a history of over 1,000 years. It is usually performed during Lantern Festival and on other important celebrations and occasions to bring people good luck.

Some western elements including comic shows, stilts puppets, and clown performances are also on display at Shanghai Happy Valley.
