The 2019 Sheshan International Half Marathon Competition will return to Shanghai’s Songjiang district on March 17 after three years.

Accordingly, this year’s contest is expected to attract 10,000 runners to take part in the 21.0975-kilometer marathon in Sheshan. The registration opens until Feb 28.

The contest will starts at Shanghai Happy Valley, through Sheshan National Forest Park, Moon Lake Sculpture Park, Chenshan Botanical Garden, Gaungfulin Relic Park and Guangfulin Country Park, to give runners a chance to enjoy the human and nature sceneries in Songjiang district.

Registration fee

Individual registration: 150 yuan per person ($21.7);

Public welfare registration: 300 yuan per person (the fee will be donated to the public welfare projects and the public welfare donation certificates will be issued to public welfare applicants).
