The Sofitel Shanghai Sheshan Oriental Hotel (Sheshan Sofitel) at Sheshan National Tourist Resort is upgrading its catering business amid the novel coronavirus outbreak by offering food delivery services, local media reported on Feb 18.
“We are counting on high-quality takeout to save the day, as the Spring Festival vacation is usually the most profitable time of the year for hotels in Sheshan Resort,” said Sun Lina, marketing director of Sheshan Sofitel.
The menu consists of both cuisines from around the world and must-try Chinese dishes from Sichuan, Guangdong, and Shanghai.
For guests who have a taste for the exotic, the chefs have prepared Mediterranean pizza, roasted lamb cutlets, penne pasta with seafood, assorted sushi, barbequed eel on rice, spaghetti alla bolognese, and oven-baked chicken breasts.
For Chinese food lovers, there is braised pork with pigeon, stir fried beef with mushroom, Cantonese duck, sixi roasted bran, shredded mean with tofu, fried beef rib with black pepper sauce, and royal fried rice.
