A summer flower show in celebration of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China is being held at the Chenshan Botanical Garden in Shanghai and will run until July 5.
The show revolves around a centenary celebration tour that links seven attractions in the garden, using plants to tell the Party's history and showcasing various kinds of summer flowers.
For example, the first stop on the route -- City Garden -- planted about 100 varieties of wild vegetables, many of which Red Army soldiers ate during the Long March.
