Shanghai Chenshan Botanical Garden recently launched its popular parent-child night tour activities themed around science popularization.
Home to approximately 10,000 plant species, the garden is known as the largest botanical garden in East China. Many summer flowers are now in full bloom there. With light decorations, the garden provides wonderful night views.
With professional guides leading the way, participants in the activities will learn about many interesting plants, as well as insects and amphibians in the garden.
They will be divided into three teams to find special plants at greenhouses of rare plants, sand plants, and tropical plants respectively.
The activities will be held on July 2, 3, 9, and 10. Each activity is priced at 198 yuan ($31) for an adult and a child, and will last for two hours from 18:30 to 20:30. They are suitable for families with a child that is seven years old or older.
