Shanxi province and the Ministry of Culture signed a framework agreement on June 30 to carry out strategic cooperation regarding the development of culture in the province.
According to the agreement, the cooperation will involve aspects such as developing a program for the promotion of culture in Shanxi, promoting the integration of the cultural and tourism industries, increasing efforts in the protection of intangible cultural heritage, strengthening cooperation with Hong Kong, Taiwan, Macao and other countries, and building an art research base.
The agreement offers much support for the development of a creative industry public service platform.
