A boy looks outside through glass covered with photography posters at a cotton textile plant, one of the exhibition areas of the 13th China Pingyao International Photography Festival. The festival lasts from Sept 19 - 25 and takes place in the old city of Pingyao, Shanxi province. Under the theme “Images Oriented to Life”, more than 12,000 photographs by 1,600 designers and photographers from 32 countries and regions will be on display across 427 shows.
