The city of Taiyuan, capital of Shanxi province, announced plans to build a base to promote the commercialization of scientific and technological developments under a program with Ministry of Science and Technology approval, on Oct 8.
The first phase of construction covers three major areas: an information service platform for scientific and technological developments and their commercialization; developing transformation services that are government- and market-oriented; and completing construction work on the demonstration area for the commercialization of scientific and technological developments in coal machinery equipment, stainless steel deep processing, and the mature vinegar business, using the most advanced scientific and technological products.
