The city of Taiyuan, the capital of Shanxi province, has seen its people busy doing their shopping for the upcoming Chinese Spring Festival, and has joined them by starting a 2014 Shanxi Boutique New Year Shopping Festival, on Jan 9, at the city's China Taiyuan Coal Transaction Center.
It got more than 400 enterprises to take part in the event, with displays of candies, nuts, and meat and aquatic products. Many of Taiyuan’s people have been attracted to the festival as a convenient way to deal with their Spring Festival purchases.(Photo/Xinhua)
