When the 14th Science and Technology Festival & Investment Promotion Conference in Taigu county came to its conclusion on March 2, 14 projects had been signed, amounting to an investment of 3.353 billion yuan ($548.56 million).
These projects are all involved in the fields of modern agriculture, new materials, equipment manufacturing and food processing.
Two projects were officially agreed. One was the Taigu production base – a 300 square meter building manufacturing industrialized components. The other is the expansion of a production base for the high-performance green packing of printing ink. These two projects brought in a total of 1.62 billion yuan, making up 48.3% of the total investment. These projects are playing an active role in strengthening communications and cooperation between Taigu county and other places, promoting its transformation and upgrading the county’s traditional industries, speeding up its economic structural changes, and ending up with a leap forward it its development.
