A photography exhibition focusing on beautiful Taiyuan, capital of Shanxi province, from the viewpoint of media outlets from 10 Asian countries opened in Taiyuan from Sept 30 to Oct 15. The exhibition was jointly organized by the Taiyuan overseas Chinese affairs office, the international communication office of the CPC Taiyuan municipal committee and the Taiyuan Hall of Mass Arts, which was also the exhibition’s venue.

All the photography works displayed at the exhibition was selected from an event in this May, "Asian Photographers Focus on Beautiful Taiyuan", which was held from May 25 to 28 thanks to joint efforts by China Daily and the international communication office of the CPC Taiyuan municipal committee. The photos feature the unique charm of Taiyuan, representing its colorful tourism resources, rich culture and long history from multiple perspectives. The changes, developments and images of Taiyuan in recent years were recorded in these works with vivid style.

This exhibition was a tribute to the 65th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and also presented a cultural feast for local residents.
