Fuzhou Airlines has launched flights between Fuzhou and Yinchuan, capital of Northwest China's Ningxia Hui autonomous region, via Taiyuan of Shanxi province on April 15, the Fuzhou Evening News reported.
Flights on daily basis, with flight number FU6517/8, will take off from Fuzhou at 7:35am and arrive in Yinchuan at 10:55am. The return flight will depart from Yinchuan at 1:00pm and land in Fuzhou at 5:30pm.
Yinchuan and Taiyuan have been listed as cities for integrated customs clearance in the Silk Road Economic Belt, while Fuzhou is also a pivotal city for the Maritime Silk Road strategy. The new flight route will enhance the connection between the two strategic areas and contribute to the social and economic development of the three cities.
