A calligraphy, painting and photography exhibition about the Emperor Yao period opened in Linfen, Shanxi province on April 2, as a part of the city's first Emperor Yao Culture Tourism Festival.

A group of artists from Shanxi and Henan participated with over 400 works. These works covered colorful themes, such as the Yao culture relics, ancient architecture, folk customs, landscapes and the city's modern life.
