Heads of 10 customs in China's nine provinces and autonomous regions signed a cooperation agreement in Qingdao, Shandong province on April 27, which marked the beginning of regional customs integration along the Silk Road Economic Belt.
On March 31, the General Administration of Customs announced the integration of regional customs among nine provinces and autonomous regions， namely, Shandong, Henan, Shanxi, Shaanxi, Gansu, Qinghai, Ningxia, Xinjiang and Tibet.
The reform aims to "break boundaries" among these customs and provide more efficient customs clearance services for the enterprises.
